How to measure

We would like to help you to make sure you measure your head properly and purchase the perfect sized Old habits hat. All you need is a cloth tape measure and if possible some assistance from another person for more accurate measuring. Make sure you measure your head in CM because all our sizes are too. There are multiple ways to wear your hat, option A and Option B are both different, therefor it is very important to measure your hat to fit like the preferred option.

Option A:

Please choose this option if this is the way you would like to wear your hat. Let’s start Get your cloth measuring tape (in CM) and place it around the furthest part on the back of your head. Next, bring the measure around to the front of your head, about 5 mm above your ears and position it at the top of your forehead (beginning of hairline).

Option B:

Hoe draag je een Old Habits Die Hard Hoed?

Please choose this option if this is the way you would like to wear your hat. Let’s start Get your cloth measuring tape (in CM) and place it around the furthest part on the back of your head. Next, bring the measure around to the front of your head, about 5 mm above your ears, and position in the centre of your forehead or just above the eyebrows (depending on where you want your hat to sit).

Check what size your measuring tape says. Please make sure the tape is not too loose or tight. If you measure in between sizes, we recommend going up in size as we have a cord in our hats to tighten its fit.
